Three characteristics of YG-1 DIN full series powder metallurgy tap series in China
European Quality: High Quality
German Design: High Level
Made in Asia: Cost-effective
● Definition and technical advantages of powder metallurgy
● Powder metallurgy: the process of making metal or using metal powder (or a mixture of metal powder and non-metallic powder) as raw material, forming and sintering to manufacture metal materials, composite materials and various types of products.
● The advantages of powder metallurgy technology:
1. It can produce materials with special properties that cannot be produced by ordinary smelting methods: ① It can control the porosity of products (porous materials, porous oil bearings, etc.);② It can use the combined effect of metal, metal and non-metal to produce various materials with special properties (tungsten-copper pseudo-alloy electric contact materials, friction materials composed of metal and non-metal, etc.);③ It can produce various composite materials.
2. Some materials produced by powder metallurgy method have superior performance compared with ordinary smelting method: ① the performance of high alloy powder metallurgy materials is better than that produced by casting method (powder high speed steel can avoid the segregation of components);② production of refractory metal materials or products, generally rely on powder metallurgy method (refractory tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, etc.).

Definition of DIN:
DIN is an association of participants based in Berlin (registered as DIN unge. V., founded in 1917). DIN undertakes standardization work in Germany and represents German interests in European and world standardization organizations. These responsibilities of DIN were established in 1975 in an agreement with the German government.
DIN is a round table, around which sit producers, merchants, consumers, craftsmen, public utilities, scientists, technical supervisors, the state, that is, everyone who is interested in standardization work, sits together, disseminates technical status information to each other, and writes the new consensus into the German standard (DIN)
DIN history and current situation
The Normenausschuss der deutschen Industrie(NADI) was established on December 22, 1917 as the German Industrial Standards Committee.
The first DIN standard, taper pin standard, published in January 1918
Officially registered with the government authorities in 1920, DIN is also registered as a mark in the patent office
In 1922, the paper specification standard was issued, -- A4
In 1924, together with the Federation of German Industry, DEUTH Press was established to promote standardization. In 1926, NADI was renamed DNA, the German Standards Committee
In 1927, more than 3000 standards were published.
In 1943, the DIN headquarters was bombed at the end of a World War II air raid.
In 1946, with the approval of the joint occupation authorities, the DIN resumed full work.
In 1951, DIN became a member of ISO organization, representing the whole of Germany. In 1954, East Germany established AFS, the standardization agency, with its head as the vice-chairman of DIN.
In 1961, DIN joined CEN as the initiator of the European Organization for Standardization, and East Germany closed all DIN offices in East Germany at the same time.
In 1975, DNA officially signed a document with the German government to determine the relationship between DNA and the government, and DNA was officially renamed DIN.
In 1979, DIN established formal cooperation with the Chinese standards organization
On July 3, 2000, DIN and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the German Government jointly participated in the study report completed, the results show that Germany's use of DIN standards to produce a total national economic benefit of 30 billion marks per year.
Today'sDIN has 76 standards committees, 5 specialized committees, 3300 working committees under them, and six specialized operating companies.
85% of DIN standard results are adopted by CEN and ISO today, and DIN is also responsible for about 1/3 of CEN's workload.
65% of DIN's funding comes from the sale of standards, while the rest comes from membership fees, corporate and social contributions and a small amount of public expenses (for labor safety).
Types and numbering of DIN standards. Standard types:
-Draft Standard (Entwuerf)
● For example∶ EDIN 4701
Commissioning criteria (Vornorm)
● For example∶VDIN 4701
Formal standards (Norm)
● For example∶DIN 4701
standard numbering method∶
-General standard: DIN + standard serial number year month number
For example∶DIN 4701 ∶ 1999-02
-adoptedCEN/ISO Standards
● DIN EN 4701-Standards for the adoption of the European standard
● DIN EN ISO 4701-Adoption of European and International Standards
● DIN ISO 4701-Standard for the adoption of international standards
Classification and Retrieval of DIN Standard
Classification of DIN standards:
-DK-German Classification Number
-UDC-International Decimal Classification
-IPK(IPC)-International Patent Classification
-ICS-International (Standard) Classification Number
-ICS_International (Standard) Classification No.
-ISO organized the preparation of the International Standard Classification (International Classification for Standards) in 1991, which is mainly used for the classification, cataloging, ordering and database construction of international standardized documents.
-ICS is a hierarchical taxonomy with three levels. The first level contains 40 standardized professional fields, each specialty is subdivided into 407 groups (secondary categories), and 134 of the 407 secondary categories are further subdivided into 896 subgroups (tertiary categories). The international standardized classification uses numerical numbering, the first and third levels use double digits, and the second level uses three digits, and the classification numbers at all levels are separated by solid dots.
