Forming tools for broaching. There are multiple rows of cutter teeth on the surface of the cutter, and the size and shape of each row of cutter teeth increase and change sequentially from the cut-in end to the cut-out end. As the broach is broaching, each tooth cuts a thickness of metal from the workpiece, resulting in the desired size and shape. Broach is often used in batch and mass production processing round hole, spline hole, keyway, plane and forming surface, etc., high productivity. Broach according to the different parts of the processing surface, divided into internal broach and external broach; according to the different ways of working force, divided into broach and push knife. The push knife is often used to calibrate the hole after heat treatment. Although there are many types of broach, the structural composition is similar. For example, the structure of ordinary round hole broach is composed of: shank, which is used to hold broach and transmit power; Neck, which plays a connecting role; Transition cone, which introduces the leading part of the broach into the workpiece; Leading part, which plays a guiding role to prevent the broach from skewing; Cutting teeth, which complete the cutting work and consist of rough cutting teeth and fine cutting teeth; Calibration teeth play the role of trimming and calibration, and as backup teeth for fine cutting; the rear guide part is used to support the workpiece and prevent the processing surface and cutter teeth from being damaged due to the sagging of the workpiece before the cutter teeth are cut off; the rear support handle supports the broach.
